Greyhound Hyaluronic Acid Serum is the hydrating pre-treatment used before Greyhound Corn & Callus Cream.
This lightweight, highly moisturizing formulation combines Hyaluronic Acid with humectants, phospholipids, botanical oils, vitamins and other skin-supportive ingredients to provide intensive hydration and help soften dry, thickened paw-pad tissue before application of the Corn & Callus Cream.
Why Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid is a naturally occurring molecule with an exceptional ability to attract and retain water. Applied topically, it helps hydrate and soften the surface of the skin.
For the Greyhound 2-Step Care Protocol, that hydration serves an important purpose: softening thickened paw-pad tissue before applying the 10% Salicylic Acid Corn & Callus Cream.
More than Hyaluronic Acid
This is much more than Hyaluronic Acid in a simple lotion base.
The formulation also contains Vegetable Glycerin, Aloe Vera and Honey for hydration and skin conditioning; Phosphatidylserine, Phosphatidylcholine and Sphingosine-1-Phosphate as components of its phospholipid architecture; Borage and Rose Hip Seed Oils; Sodium PCA and D-Panthenol; and a broad group of vitamins and additional skin-supportive ingredients.
How to use:
Apply a small amount of Greyhound Hyaluronic Acid Serum to the affected area of the paw pad.
Cover with an appropriate protective covering for approximately 20 minutes. Always supervise your dog and make certain the covering does not restrict circulation.
Do not wash off.
After approximately 20 minutes, proceed directly to Step 2 — Greyhound Corn & Callus Cream.
For best results, the 2-step protocol may be used up to twice daily during active care.
For humans, too!
Greyhound Hyaluronic Acid Serum may also be used to hydrate dry or thickened areas of human skin, particularly the feet and hands.
When used with Greyhound Corn & Callus Cream for human corns and calluses, apply the Hyaluronic Acid Serum first and cover for approximately 20 minutes before proceeding to the Corn & Callus Cream.
